The Keyboard Bear has Dancing Dreams.

I made some drawings. about a movie weasle. or just a weasle. they were just fun little sketches i did when i was bored. all straight to ink, so there was zero pencils and zero erasing. it's a great little experiment to go straight from mind to paper.
so here are two of them, there are plenty more but i don't want to seem over eager. or something like that....





'hello darkness my old friend'

good evening children. finding time to draw is a luxery now. and a rare one at that. i have some interview for jobs. one over the phone one in person one in writing and one in my dreams. terrifying. i tried to remind myself how to use that computer program dreamweaver today for this tryout job interview tomorrow. after making a huge mess full of buttons and ftps and htmls and then accidentally shuting off the computer and not being able to turn it back on i decided to just wing it. tomorrow i will make a giant fool of myself.
so night happens at 5 pm. and women dance and straight jackets come off. computers get smashed and scapegoats escape. low country memories. a new kind of dirt. the same old red wine. life settles in the dust.

a few days ago i drew this. still attempting to learn french by painting stories in it.

update update update! I now realize that I have NOT updated this in almost half of a year. that is terrible. graduating college/moving to new york sucks time into this little black time hole and now I will never get it back.
So, I made it to new york and am trying to make it big as an illustrator, but really am just making it big as a starving artist. but its only been a month, so....there is still time.
i have been working on little things and wadering around giant brick buildings and drinking lots of coffee and listening to the opera singing neighbor through cement walls.

hello all. all of you. you all.
i am currently putting my official website together. it should be up and running by the end of this week... as long as all goes according to plan. i will let the masses know. whe it IS finished you can find it at atomicgoodreau.com. but don't go there yet. it is not ready or up. at all.

so here is one of the paintings i have been working on recently. i have started a little series. houses in inconvenient places. or something like that.

oh dear. sorry i have been away for so long. my computer hates me. so i have to seek out other forms of electronic beings.
anyway. i have been workng on some black and white things. fun! mostly themed in 'giant monsters eat/destroy things'. here are two of them.





also. i will be attending the Hero's Convention in June. i hear it is in north carolina. no, it IS in north carolina. well i will be there with mr. getty. we will have a booth and want you to come and talk to us. ok. i will keep more updates, i promise. see you around captian.

hello hello. back from orlando and the megacon extravaganza. the convention went supremely well. so thanks to all those who bought, enjoyed, and supported the little books and painitngs of mine. thank you!

my solo show, "storylines" is coming up very soon. friday march 2nd to be exact. it is upwards of one hundred small paintings of little creatures telling a backwards narrative. i am also holding a savannah release for "A Sad Day for Kites (and other accounts0". so that should be fun. anyone in savannah on march 2nd should go. i will give you a hug.

they are a neat band. here is a neat cd cover i designed for said band in one of my classes.

here is a caricature i did of the fashion designer and interesting looking person, karl lagerfeld. done on the computer.
later on i will share a caricature that i did of lou reed and the velvet underground. painted by my hands. it is pretty awesome. at least i think so. maybe i just really like the velvet underground. fact.

it have been ages. forgiviness. holiday seasons are relentless. first i had the internet connections but no scanner. then i had my scanner but no internet connections to be found. but now it is all togethere agian.

i am working on my new book. title still under consideration. but it is a collection of little illustrated fable type stories that are full of interesting things and life lessons. or not so much that as other things. never the less. they are nice to look at.
