this will be one large post. indeed. i am finally able to surface from the finals swamp. so here are some things i have been up to since i last posted oh so long ago. one two three, here we go!!!

onward to life. t minus one week and i will be traveling to the north country. new jersey with the photographer. new york city with the company. washington dc with one roomate and a 17 hour train ride back to savannah. then up to chicago and then to the homeland of boston. this being said i may not be able to post for a while, for there is no internet on the open road, my kittens. but a travel sketch book shall be kept so look forward to some sketches at one point in the near future. the future. my future. your future.

oh yes. i like to write backwards. so when you see backwards writing. it is not a bad scan. it is just be trying to make myself dyslexic.

my god, i have not posted in so long. my apologies to the few or many or negative who read this. i am just starting up again on the whole be really productive things. so you will be seeing more and more....and more!! drawings paintings and writings.

right. my computer is now unbroken and i have a little scanner. so yay and hurray i can grace you with my online presence once more. i finish one little book, "the ballad of dmitri domokos". it is pretty cute. i stiched all of the pager together on wax paper and old paper bags. sounds messy, but it gives it this antique/crafty/tacky feel. it is what i like. so i have been keeping busy, very busy. i have also started working on an illustrated dream book. basically i draw out (in sequential form) all of the dreams that i have. i would like to continue this for about a year...maybe more....so i will have a giant archive of my dreams. here is one of the pages. it is a dream i had about a giant jungle alligator thats skin shedded into millions of tiny white flowers. the jungle people woudl harvest these flowers and rejoice for their good fortune. my dreams are so ridiculous.



right. i will continue posting my dreams for you. my pets.
i will also be in the boston area for the first week of august.

well, i just got back from my very first comic book convention. hoo-rah. it actually went very well. to my suprise people really enjoy my ugly little drawings. my studio, fat man & little boy comics did very good as well. as we should have, since we rock so much...yes. i sold almost all of my books and sold even more paintings than i had brought, which ment i was behind my booth or in my hotel room always painting. how fun it was! i think i am gong to start painting some full color illustrations for "an anthology of alphabetical alliterations" and one day turn it into a real and fully-colored book. how fancy would that be? so thats my project, along with a hundred more, for this summer. keep reading.. i will post updates and as soon as i get a scanner within my grasp i will post paintings and drawing and everything that is good.
so until then, have fun on that fourth of july. set someting on fire for me. i will be setting things on fire for you.

i have hundreds of little pages scattered about the floor. the books are almost done. entitled "the anthology of alphabetical alliterations". they should be cute when done. we leave at 3 in the morning, thurseday, well friday i guess. if you want to get right down to it. i will spend the rest of the day painting, and the rest of the night swimming in the ocean. maybe watch a hungarian film. or write backwards some more. once i get home from this convention i am going to start writing more stories so i can make more books. i am thinking a 50's beat style for one. burroughs used to write, then cut up his work and put it back together. i could do that, with text and image. maybe i will. no, i will. yes. for certain.
i am excited for the dirty motel. 1.5 stars....fantastic.
my work space is getting out of control. this is what it looked like a week ago.

now it is 10 times worse, tiny pages, brushes, ink, glue, needles and thread, jars full of shredded paper. everywhere. it is aweful. but then again, bacon's studio was far worse and he was amazing. but also an alcoholic. ahh yes.

here is my first blog. there is not to much to report. well...no, there is everything to report, but not to much i want to write.
i will be in north carolina on friday and saturday with my studio at the heros comic book convention. we have a booth, i will be selling my brand new alphabet book and a few paintings. that should be neat. until then i will be sitting in my little cave of a room cutting and folding and sewing pages together to makes said alphabet books. so that is that and this is this. i will leave you with a preview of my book.
